Mr. Poet

Jack Shuler

Making paper is necessary. The garbageman,
he too, is necessary. The mail carrier, braving
the brutal storm, she is necessary. The truckdriver,
teacher, mother, father, donut maker, ticket taker,
frosted flaker, red leaf raker, sin forsaker,
all necessary.
