"These pieces reflect my interest in painted
images as objects for contemplation. As a painter, I seek to give visual
form to inner experiences that are meditative in nature. I am particularly
interested in creating compositional structures that encourage a shift
in consciousness, from a state of non-awareness to mindfulness or presence.
In my work, I aim to bring substance and spirit into conscious relationship."
