Doug Malone specializes in figurative drawing and painting. His extensive background in Classical drawing and anatomy enables him to craft the image of the human form with meticulous precision, subtlety, insight and empathy. He regularly exhibits his paintings and drawings in galleries throughout America, and his work is held in private and corporate collections in the United States and Europe.
Malone studied at the College of William & Mary, The Corcoran School of Art, and the Academy of Art in San Francisco. He has taught anatomy and drawing at the Academy since 1998, and now teaches at the Savannah College of Art and Design.
