"This series evolves from an inner response
to light and spatial content of the terrain, which generates an
illusion of reality. What is real and that which is elusive forms
a place to experience the newly formed connection.
"Working with a sense of the textural elements
of the landscape, we transport them toward a modality that morphs
into the final imagery.
"We begin with a classical foundation based
on traditional landscape painting and photography. Playing to the
horizon, as the place of change, is the transformational zone.
"Finding this point of subtle transition
is left to the viewer."
