Amie Oliver
"Angels and Infidels is an extended series of mixed media works that began in Paris during 2004. This series of portraits begin from memory, are informed by life are inspired by history, myth and questions of faith, honor, truth and beauty.” © 2006 Amie Oliver Amie Oliver has maintained a studio in Richmond, VA since 1988. Her work has been featured in a number of solo and group exhibitions, most recently at Paris's Cité Internationale des Arts, in December 2004, and the Portsmouth Visual Arts Center, in Portsmouth, VA, and the Contemporary Art Center of Virginia, in Virginia Beach, both in 2005. Her work is included in private and public collections in the United States and overseas.
