sometimes song
posted May 5, 2009
arrives at night sometimes earlier
but this song arrives alone balanced
at the peak of its jump it is its
own company smoking strange
indigenous stuff it is its own
bridled beast its own keeper
approaching the gray almost
imaginary mountains in the sudden
six a.m. whisper it knows
it rides through its own smoke
