Janet Gorzegno studied at The New York Studio School and earned her M.F.A. in Painting at Yale University. Her current gallery affiliation is Bowery Gallery in New York City. Gorzegno has also been a fellow at several artist residency programs in the United States and abroad, most recently the Virginia Center for Creative Arts and The Hambidge Center in Georgia. When she is not traveling, she paints in her studio in Mississippi. She teaches drawing and painting as a Professor of Art for The University of Southern Mississippi.
