Jen Mazza received a BA from Mary Washington College, and her MFA from Rutger's Mason Gross School of the Arts. She has exhibited in many group shows throughout New York and New Jersey. Her work was featured recently in solo shows at the Jersey City Museum and the Aljira Center for Contemporary Art.
In both 2001 and 2008, Mazza received Individual Artist Fellowships from the New Jersey State Council for the Arts, and has participated in the Aljira Center for Contemporary Art's Emerge program. She has been awarded fellowships by VCCA, the Millay Colony, Blue Mountain Center, the Jentel Foundation, and Yaddo. She received a Project Space award from PS122 for 2006-2007, AAI's Lower East Side Rotating Studio Progam in 2008, and was Artist in Residence at the Newark Museum in January of 2008.
