You Can't Kiss An Astronaut On A Space Walk

posted Dec 8, 2015

You can't even
          get a proper

          tan, solar winds
be damned.

The pull is dark,
          irresistible, a mission

          that could freeze
us beyond any border.

So much to discover
          from here
.

          You flew to me
so many times,

and I'd stare
          at the picture

          you sent me
from Ipanema,

your sunglasses
          two moons,

          helmet visor
reflecting descent.

So much to miss
          in our orbits.
