In our interview with Steven Millhauser, he admits, “I mess with reality in the name of reality.” We like to think we do the same—we give you fiction, poetry, and visuals that take what you know, and give it a slight tweak here, a minor manipulation there... Perhaps it’s just a turn of phrase, a mixed metaphor that somehow works, an image that is all too real, or words that simply mean more than they say. Wonder what I mean? Take a closer look at what’s up now on our site: the fiction of Williams and Dressick, poems of Wisse and Yamaguchi, paintings by Julie Speed... Reality, all of it, and just a bit more.
